Okay, Well I guess I'm getting more trained and it was a bit easier for me this time, but the skin, OMG it almost killed me XDD
I know, he looks pretty naked, that wasn't really my intention XDDD Yeah, I even blushed, because it doesn't seemed THAT naked on the sketch hahaha XDD
Finally, finally. I hadn't even faved this drawing until now. *feels bad* BUT you get a critique from me, hope you'll be glad and can use what I find. ^^
Motive Poses: You wanted to show a romantic and intimate moment of a couple. What catches first the view of the person who looks on the drawing, is indeed the pair and their sweet moment. With her hair and his pose there is a perfect balance and no one is dominating the drawing 'sheet'. Only with the poses you depicted both sensitivity and passion. The frame and roses fit very well and underline the message.
Composition Foreground: As already said, the foreground, meaning the two characters, are very well balanced in this picture and they fill in the 'paper sheet' very well. BUT you must take a bit care about leaving the complete left side of the drawing white and the complete right one covered with her hair. You rescued this a bit with putting all the roses on the left side/ corner, but better try to send some of her hair over there, too. So it's not too abrupt. Background/ Frame: The frame with the roses come very very well with the drawing and the motive. There is no huge detailed background neccessary when the focus is on the centre, but it's still a strong enough frame (from colour values and details) to balance the drawing. What is a bit a pity is that you simply copied the single roses of the frame, you could have played a bit more with them. But I like the symmetry of the frame which calms down the whole thing and doesn't distract from the characters.
Artwork Lining: Super nice! Only think I would criticize is that you gave him some sharp lines to define his body, but she has no sharp ones at all. Colouration: I cannot say nothing much about that's, it's super pretty and I don't know much about digital inking anway. her hair and face remind me of Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. *_* So golden, so soft. Textures: Very very smooth in all parts. I like how you gave shapes and textures in skin, hair, roses, leaves, but still kept the softnes and smoothness of them. Shading: Technically perfect, but you could have been a bit more adventurous and deep in the darker parts. And ya, you already know now our new understanding of shading, to use different colours etc.
All in all: Nice work and super pretty romantic piece to enjoy to look at! But here and there are some things that could be fixed easily - like the lines or deeper shading. I hope my words could help you a bit.
this is amazing! the skin is so well drawn and colored!! THAT naked hehe well we still don't see any things that need a content filter so It's okay ^^ amazing work jette!
